Native American Land Acknowledgment Statement

At Fair Oaks Behavioral Health, we acknowledge that we are gathered on the traditional lands of the The Nisenan people, The Southern Maidu, Valley and Plains Miwok, Patwin Wintun peoples, and the people of the Wilton Rancheria.

We honor and respect the diverse Indigenous nations who have stewarded these lands for countless generations. We recognize that Indigenous peoples' connection to this land, their cultures, and their histories are an integral part of our shared heritage.

We take this opportunity to pay our respects to the past, present, and future generations of Indigenous peoples and to express our commitment to understanding and addressing the ongoing challenges they face. We strive to learn more about the history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous communities and to support efforts for reconciliation and healing.

As we come together in this space, let us remember the importance of preserving the land, respecting the Indigenous nations, and working towards a more just and equitable future for all.
